Introduction to the Mission Action Planning Workbook by Dr. Larry Dennis (District Superintendent, Central Florida District Church of the Nazarene). MAPing (Mission Action Planning) is not a program. It is a process. It will guide you to Discover, Dream, Design and Develop God’s unique plan for your unique church in fulfilling the Great Commission and the Great Commandment in your unique community. Prayerfully and with God’s help, we will work to identify, pursue and then celebrate God’s unique vision for your church to develop Christ-like disciples.

The Mission Action Planning Workbook is the result of 10 years of prayer, planning, and research in the quest to strengthen existing churches and partner with them in starting new ones. The district’s role is to “come alongside” pastors & their congregations.

With renewed energy and excitement, it is becoming increasingly clear to ministers and lay leaders in Florida that God has a unique plan – for His unique Church – in every unique neighborhood.

Mission Action Planning (M.A.P.) is a Biblically based, step-by-step guide for assisting congregations in discovering and embracing God’s unique plan for the neighborhood where He has placed them. Watch the video above to learn more about our vision for M.A.P. development in Florida.
